Ok don't say I'm too young but I'm 10 years old and there's a guy who I think has liked me for the past two years.

I'm going to call him mark because he uses this and I don't want him to get mad if he sees this

So back in 2nd grade I think it started... I wouldn't call myself pretty and popular I would call myself smart and funny and nice. So I was the tallest in the class (4"7 ish) and he was like a inch shorter so he sort of started to like me a bit just like a friend. So at recess we would play games like tag and stuff. I didn't really care what I look like. The. Into grade three I started to wear a more prettier style but I still played tag and stuff. Still being the tallest and I would be made fun of a lot for it he would always help me out.


Then into the third grade he told some of his closet friends that he liked me ( maybe maybe not) and it spread and became a huge rumour. He always try's to make me laugh and look like the big tough guy In front of me


Does he like me??

I only like him as a friend!!

If he like me like me then how do I tell him that I only like him as a friend with body language not talking.

Maybe he does like you but for now its best to be best friends and let it grow. Think of it this way. You jump into something now before you are ready for the boyfriend/girlfriend stuff, it doesn't work out. You may have lost a best friend. You get to know each other as best friends, remain best friends and when you are older it could evolve into something that lasts

There really isn't a way to let him know you just want to be friends without saying something other than ignoring him.

If you are worried he likes you in a different way than you like him, you can talk to him and get everything out in the open or you can stop being as friendly as you have been. It would mean giving up your friendship.

I think you might be worrying too much. He probably likes you as a friend who likes playing tag and having fun. Most people like to see their friends smile and laugh.

Liking you as a 'friend who is a girl', doesn't mean he likes you as a 'girlfriend'.

Be yourself and enjoy having a friend who likes you as the person you are. Male or female, friends like that are few and far between.
