You apply for scholarships directly through your school, for one, there may be local scholarships available through your local businesses. You will also be required to fill out the FAFSA which is what will determine how much grant money you get.

You need to talk to the school, the list of possible places is almost endless but depend on so many things. Veterans have many options, some religious groups, some social groups may have some you need to discuss all possible things with the financial aid department of the school you are going to.
