OK so the last day of my period was July 28 and I was on birth control pills for 6 months and stopped taking them at the end of the pack(july 28) well a little bit over I took 2 active birth control pills (july 29 30) then stopped completely and started right away every other day trying to conceive. So today makes it 17 days after period and I have been experiencing lower back pains, eating a lot more wich contributes to bloating(I look pregnant after eating every meal even a bowl of cereal) gas, constipation, cramps, and fatigue ( I actually fell asleep at work:() could I be pregnant because I don't expect my period for another week in a half and I took a early pregnancy test and it was negative. Advice and insight please!!

Not surprised the test was negative... you have to be 2 weeks LATE for your period to be sure it actually registers a pregnancy... yeah SOMETIMES it registers a positive sooner... but if it doesn't you can't be sure if you are or not until then.

But since so few women (based on other women's posts at this site) know how and when to take it... its right after you wake up... the first time you pee that morning. If you forget you have to wait until the next morning.

The other stuff can be any number of things... that can cause gas... stuff that affects guys as well as women.

No, you are not having sgns. You would not even look pregnant, till end of 2nd month if not longer. At this point, even if pregnant, the sperm has just reached egg at most.

There are no signs a week or even two weeks after pregnancy, it takes 3 to 4 days for sperm to reach the egg.

The first real sign will be missing a period.

And you can not really test till 2 week after you miss a period.

A healthy couple can take wiell over a year to get pregnant.

Advice, start tracking ovulation with a ovulation test kit and/or basal temp. *** not silly online charts. Then start timing sex for 3 or 4 days prior to ovulation. Also no sex for the week or so before that.
