Can't find the lyrics to the song "Don't Cry for Me" as done by BRIAN LACKEY... found lyrics by OTHERS but not by him. Song is on iTunes, but Pandora doesn't recognize him, although I heard the song on Pandora.. shortly after my son's death... it wasn't the first time a computer or iPad played a song all on its own since his death, so its VERY important to me to find the lyrics to the song by Brian Lackey as it was so mysteriously brought to my attention... Please help... There is a site that talks about this version, but as far as I can tell doesn't give the LYRICS to it:

Brian Lackey | Dont Cry for Me | CD Baby Music Store (http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/brianlackey)

I could not find anything on the internet, lyric sites or YouTube by brian lackey. Where are you hearing this song? Do you have Shazam on your phone? That is my favorite way of getting lyrics.

Okay - so I was able to find a bit of info on Brian Lackey and Don't Cry For Me... it looks like Brian entered a songwriters contest in Texas called the Ruby Allmond Songwriting Contest, he didn't place, but they mention him here:
... Brian Lackey of Dodd City, Texas sang "Don't Cry For Me"... (the picture of him is almost at the bottom of the page, white-ish shirt, kind of longish hair... )Gary Hamilton wins 2012 Ruby Allmond Songwriting contest - North Texas e-News (http://www.ntxe-news.com/cgi-bin/artman/exec/view.cgi?archive=48&num=77957)[
Here is the home page of the above mentioned songwriting contest, maybe they keep record of the songs entered? It's a start...

NO... thank YOU... without the info about the Texas contest I would have been stumped... Thanks again..

NOW Pandora has done it AGAIN... I was listening to a playlist streaming from Pandora, and I heard the song RAVEN and when I looked back a few minutes later it said it was by Allison Krauss... BUT once again when I went to buy it on iTunes, I couldn't find it... nor could I find it anywhere else, except by Jewell... I think SHE actually wrote it and has recorded it, and I bought HER version on iTunes...

There are LOTS of songs called RAVEN, but it's the one by Jewell I want to find, BUT by Allison Krauss... I should have copied down the album too, but was in a hurry...
This is the same thing that happened with the song you just helped me find [Con't Cry for Me by Brian Lackey]... I heard it on Pandora, but then couldn't find it on Pandora later... very strange, NO?

YES.. I heard it one day on a Pandora station, but can't find it anywhere else, and failed to buy it on Pandora when I saw it there...

Boy - that's a tough one. When you listen to the Jewel song that you purchased, you're sure it's the same lyrics you heard initially on Pandora?

So I found the Alison Krauss Facebook page, and asked about it there...

(me: )
Question - Did Alison Krauss ever sing the song 'Raven' by Jewel? (On Jewels Lullaby album... )

She has never recorded a version of this song. That doesn't mean she may not have performed it sometime though I don't recall it.
