Have you tried applying for your ssd benefits to cover your kids?
Have you tried going after dad(s) for child support?
What has welfare told you as a reason for not being eligible for food stamps, cash or medical for the kids?
Have you talked to social security about working and receiving? My state you are allowed to work part time under 30 hrs. per week.

disabled due to conjestive heart fauilure state says no work
You are getting no benefits other than food stamps and Medicaid? And they are prohibiting you from working? I suspect you are misunderstanding them. They cannot prohibit you from working, although that might affect your benefits.

She gets state minimum SSD --$730. And foodstamps.
No medical or welfare cash.
She may have only been on SSD for under a year because some people that I know said that social security no longer covers your medical the first year on SSD.
Welfare could possibly be saying no cash because she hasn't taken her kids dad(s) for child support or they could be saying because she gets SSD it disqualifies her from TANF

TANF = Temporary Assistance for Needy Families. Replaced AFDC. Ok. Didn't know that before.
Isn't it up to "welfare" to pursue CS in such a case?
By-the-way, what is this doing in the "Criminal Law" forum?

Welfare had me go for child support before I could get on welfare. I don't know anybody that welfare did it for them. I wish the OP would come back and explain more of what all she has tried. She may have been trying in a wrong order.
