I had a c section 12 days ago. It looks awful! My dr is in jamaica and I can't see him until Monday. Im really worried. I tried to attach a pic but I don't know if you'll be able to open it. The wound looks open. The dr used dissolvable stitches ans steri strips. There is white stuff showing. There is a bit of a smell but I do have skin over hang. It doesn't hurt. I don't think its infected.

I'm not a doctor but that really does look terrible. If I were you I would go to the emergency room and I'm sure the will give you something to help.

Any doctor or surgeon should have someone on call, have you contacted them.

I called the on call dr and they wanted me to drive an hour to see him. I don't have the gas money for that. They told me if I got fever to go to the er. Other wise wait to see my dr. I just cleaned it with peroxide and a little plastic thing came out. I'm totally freaking out now!

You need to go to the ER ASAP! Your surgical site has dehisced and appears an infection is beginning.
