You need to do a legal eviction. What state do you live in? I'm sure for an elderly person there may be options out there.

We live in New Jersey this man has caused a lot of problems. He was suppose to be out July 31st, but had some excuse, then changed his address to PO Box in another township.
I believe, don't hold me to this, that you need to file a formal eviction.

Sorry my cell phone doesn't always sjow the full title. As j9 said you have to go to district court and file an eviction notice. You may have to give a written notice first I will look for the New jersey law

How long has he been there? Did you give him written notice to vacate? How much time did you give him?

About 1 1/2 years, not yet and it will be for 30 days

OK, so you start with a 30 day written notice to vacate. If he doesn't leave by the deadline, then you will need to file for an eviction order.
