John Deere LX 280 mower will not climb hills after 30 minutes of use.

Hi,
The LX280 was not known for hydros that got weak in this few a years unless you have a lot to mow and have a large number of hours on it, over 750 I would think. I would check the drive belt and idlers. Picture attached.
