Do you have to sign a promissory note?

If you want a response, you are going to have to give more details about this note and where you live (for legal reasons -- laws differ)

Of course you HAVE TO sign a promissory note. What made you think not?

A promissory note is a legal document stating that you promise to pay back money that was loaned to you.

If you want the loan, you'll have to sign, otherwise the note is worthless, and I can't see anyone with any sense lending you the money if you refuse to sign.

Why wouldn't you sign? Do you not plan to pay back the loan?

Without knowing the reason for the note, we really can't answer.

As Alty said, if you are borrowing money, and the lender requires it, then yes you have to sign. If the situation is different, then you have to give us more to be able to answer you.

If you borrow money, to get the money you have to sign it. What is happening and why do you question having to sign it
