It burns while I pee, so I looked and I see that I have this really big kind of slash near my vaginal opening. I'm wondering what I can do and if I should be worried?

Do you shave your vaginal area? There has to be an explanation. Where you and your partner using toys with sharp objects/corners or anything that could've caused this? If that's the case then you have your answer. And urine can cause infection to the area if its burning it it means its irritating it. Get checked out.

This is not necessarily true. Urine is free of bacteria until it passes out of the urethra, so it cannot CAUSE an infection.
It may be that OP has a UTI ( although we are not able to diagnose on the Internet). UTIs are normally caused by e.coli bacteria that, for some reason or other, have reached the urethra opening and travelled UP.
I don't think the OP has seen a SLASH, only misinterpreted what she as seen.
Who knows! Unless of course she comes back and gives us more information

No we weren't using any toys, it started hurting after he "fingered" me. It looks the same as if you were to have accidentally sliced your finger and it onky burns when my pee comes in contact with the "cut".

See your doctor then, for a proper diagnosis. If it was a slice as you say, then his finger nails must be long and sharp and I hope not dirty, otherwise, how could you get a slash, and as I posted, your urine is sterile, without bacteria upon exit. The only time a cut would be irritated in that area, or even without a cut is a urinary tract infection, which you could have had prior.
Like I said, who knows, certainly not us. We can't diagnose on the Internet.

Actually, if you have any cut slice or opening where anything can come in contact with in torn flesh... You can get the area infected. Not necessarily from the urine but from the wiping sweating and whatever else comes in contact with the "cut". He may have had sharp or long nails or even raged enged nails. But the fact that it burns when urine flows doesn't mean it's infected. It's simply means its touching the "cut" the same way rubbing alcohol would feel. Try to keep it dry but, I would say for your peace of mind go to your Obgyn. More than likely its just superficial and will heal on its own. A UTI would burn on the way out, the color , smell and other factors would also need to be present pain back lower abdomen. Frequent urination, maybe some light blood in stream many factors or none. You stated that only the "cut" burns not anything else. Leads one to believe its only on the flesh. Like all scraps, area has to be clean and dry for the most part, as difficult as that may sound.

I couldn't let this pass, the information on blood in urine is just not correct. There is always blood in our urine, but only microscopic when we are healthy.. The only time we see
visible blood in urine is when it is coloured brown (red and yellow make brown)' then it is cause for concern. UTIs do not always appear like this, but could if kidneys have been compromised by a long term untreated UTI
