Sat in the truck for 4 hrs waiting on Grandson. Got a mild sunburn. I also noticed hundreds of itsy tiny white, fluid filled, itchy blisters. My skin was very dry and not realizing I just started rubbing my arms. The blisters ruptured and I'm left with very rough arms. This only seems to be on my lower arm, forearm, although I did receive the same tiny blisters on the upper arm. It's been over a month, my arms are slightly tan and it doesn't seem to matter what scrub, lotion, antibiotic cream or cleanser I use, my arm is rough and upon closer inspection you can see where the tiny ruptured blisters were. HELP! Not sure what's going on. Scared to go to Dr. afraid I've picked up some weird mite or something. It only itched until the blisters were broken and the sunburn went away, less than 24 hrs.

Keeping the skin clean was all that was needed, washing with soap and water, rinsing well, and patting dry once a day or more if you got dirty. What concerns me is the use of scrub treatments. I suspect that you actually now have hundreds of tiny scars where the tender exposed new skin was, and it's going to stay rough. Keep applying unscented vitamin E lotion, that's all you can do. They may wear down over time, they may not. Each of us grows and keeps scar tissue differently.
