I worked for a night @ a night club for 6 years. One evening my band was gigging and the band leader is often verbally abusing the band in front of patrons. Well, this happened once too many times, and this time the band leader cursed me out like a dog on mic, in front of paying customers, and walked off the stage leaving me to do the show alone. I had to do the show the people were still there waiting to see the performance. It was so hard, it took all I had to continue but I did it and after the show I quit this band. Other bands contacted me to gig with then. The club owner is affiliated with the clubs they work and the manager told all the bands they could not hire me. These owners own most of the clubs in my area so they are preventing me from working. Can the do this.I have been Band from working and I was the victim
