You need to be seeing a real doctor instead of trying to self medicate.

Overdose of this med for lowering blood pressure is extremely low blood pressure and congestive heart failure.
So if someone chose this method of suicide it would be a slow painful death. That is if a person would actually want to go like that?

That isn't self medicating, that is an OVERDOSE.

Clearly... its also a prescription medication... how did they get it if they were not prescribed it. (I'm making an assumption there)

Many people take this for high blood pressure. I take it myself; of course it is prescription and OP either has it by script or they came by it another way?

However that got it... if they are having suicidal thoughts they need to seek out a professional to get help.

Okay. That is a given. Your original answer though was not addressing an overdose but as I read it, with self medicating.

Well to explain my thought behind that... is a doctor wouldn't have prescribed that medication at that dosage level... and its hard to accidentlyally take that much... which would leave "self medicating" as the remaining reason.

It will make them sick, a really poor choice for suicide.

They would be taking that much as a means of trying to commit suicide. No, no dr would prescribe that much
