I saw it when I was between 7 and 16, but am not sure what it was called. Which was from mid 1980's to mid 1990's (roughly).

I remember it had a young girl who came across a crash landed blue alien boy and the boy was shot down by his race's enemy's robot warrior planted there to destroy his people while he was traveling by. They have to disarm the robot and get the boy back into space to his people. During the movie the boy is wounded. At least I think I am remembering it right.

Does anyone know its name?
