So just to set the record straight I'm a very clean person! I shower daily and I take very good care of my vagina, I've always had normal, regular periods and I'm definitely disease free.

Back in June my boyfriend wanted me to go back on the depo shot after being off from it for 9 months. I was uneasy about it because I've heard stories of people not being able to get pregnant after they used it. That's why I stopped 9 months ago. Not to get pregnant, but so that I wouldn't have difficulties when I decide I want them. My boyfriends only reason for wanting me to get the shot was so that he could inside me. I don't like that, he won't use condoms and he won't pull out so I haven't really had sex since I got it. I could probably count on one hand how many times we've had sex.

But a week or so after I got the shot I got my period, which I thought was weird because the first time I started the depo shot I didn't get a period until the end of the 3 months and even then it was just spotting. But this was heavy bleeding for about two weeks. My periods normally last 3-5 days. I just ruled it out as my body was trying to get used to the shot again. Then about two weeks ago I noticed that even though my period had let up I still had a orangish, red discharge that just smells nasty.
I can smell it through my clothing and I wash and scrub a couple times a day. I'm pissed because I didn't want the shot I'm terrified of doctors and I'm sorry but I don't want a doctor poking around down there.
I need some advice and help. Tell me what to do and I'm more than willing to do it. Please and thank you!! I just really don't want to go to a doctor but if that's what it comes down to I guess I will.
I'm worried its some sort of bacterial infection and I'm going to need medicine :/ I seriously hate this more than anything

If you are sexually active, you should see a gynecologist annually for a check-up. Now is a great time to start.
