Yes I'm 17 1/2 every time I brush my hair or wash it and run the shampoo through it I have strands and hair on my hand more than usual and when I get out and it dries or I brush it I have a long streak of missing hair on my scalp right down the middle or the fron
Of my hairline on my forehead is thin is that normal cause I've died and frosted my hair.

They may not be the statistical norm, but they aren't uncommon. It can take years sometimes to determine if wacky cycles are just a young body adjusting her hormones or something else. You could have your thyroid checked, and you could have an ultrasound of your abdomen to looks for cysts or other conditions like endometriosis or fibroids, or you could try any number of b.c. pills that are still on the market. I don't understand why your doctor didn't say any of this? What country are you in?

Lack of enough B vitamins (and poor diet in general)
Overtreatment of hair with chemicals
Hormone imbalance related to your menstrual problems

We can't know. You should keep your questions together because they might be related - or they might not. Seeing a doctor might help - or he/she might say stop treating your hair, eat a healthy diet, and wait and see on the period fluctuations.

Try gnc's women's hair, nail and skin formula. If that doesn't help get a check up. It could be alopecia especially if you have a bald circle around the size of a quarter
