We would like to get a license to sell our home made wine .

VERY difficult. Food and drink are a whole complicated set of rules. Alcohol another.
Start with your state.gov website for business licenses.
Start with your town for permits.
Once you go over state lines, you are dealing with the federal gov't.
I would see if your state has a 'wine garden' license similar to beer gardens, where you serve wine and have tastings on the premises only - no bottles to go right away.
You could ask small wineries in your state how they go started.

With the feds, I think it's a tax matter. It has been since the Whiskey Rebellion, when Washington was president.
The 21st Amendment changed some things in that regard, but not much.

It depends on where you're from. What country are you in or what state in the US? And then search it up on Google
