I'm looking for a book that I read when I was in middle school between 1990 - 1993 or so. I think it may have been a little older than that, though... around the mid-late 80's maybe. It was about a young woman who somehow wake up in the past in the home of her ancestors (I believe they were Irish and were living in America) and she ends up falling in love with her "older brother" of that time. I remember that when she goes back to present time she finds a wedding portrait of the guy she fell in love with, who was an ancestor of hers and in the portrait he is looking at her. I can’t remember the title of the book for the life of me. I think that the cover was a brownish color and I believe it showed her profile.
