Hi this is going to sound really very silly but around 2 months ago I was making out with my boyfriend and I read this article after about how it's possible to get pregnant without actually having sex. We were fully dressed during that time while we were together! I did get my period after that but I still feel like I am pregnant. I just wanted to know if there's any chance I could be! Sorry if I sound too silly.. I am just being a little paranoid

You really didn't give a lot of information.

If you were fully dressed, what were you doing that would make you think you're pregnant?

Yes, you can get pregnant without actually having sex, it does happen, but that's when two people are playing naked games, and the boy ejaculates near the vagina. The fact that you were clothed, means it's very unlikely that you're pregnant, unless there's something you're not telling us.

Okay here is what happened in detail.
We were in the back seat of his car. And he was over me and we were just kissing and stuff. It was dark so I couldn't see anything that was happening. So I don't know if he did have his jeans on or not! I did have my jeans on throughout. After this I read that it's possible to be pregnant and get your period. I am 18 so I am really freaking out! It's been 2 months now.

If you had your jeans on, there's no way the sperm could have penetrated your jeans, and your underwear, found it's way to your vagina, and then proceeded.

In other words, no, you're not pregnant. There's no way you could get pregnant from what you described.

Pregnancy can happen without sex, but for that to happen you'd both have to be naked, he'd have to ejaculate near your vagina. Even if that happened, the chances of getting pregnant, well, you have a better chance winning millions in the lottery.

Stress can cause you to miss a period. It sounds like you're pretty stressed. Also, you're 18, missing a period at your age is pretty common.

But, if you still think you could be pregnant, solve the mystery by taking a pregnancy test using first morning urine. I'll bet that it's negative.

Good luck.

I haven't missed my period, but I did read that it's normal to get your period when you're pregnant. I just don't know who I can go and talk to about this so I am losing my mind. I don't know what to think now

I'm sorry, I read that you hadn't gotten a period in 2 months.

So you have gotten your period, you were fully clothed when you two messed around, but you won't believe that you're not pregnant.

I've told you already that based on what you described, there's no way you're pregnant. Now that I know you've also gotten your period, it's confirmed even more.

No, you can't get your period once you're pregnant. Some women do experience bleeding during pregnancy, and mistake it for an off period, but that's not a period. Once you're pregnant, your period stops, and it's not normal to experience bleeding throughout pregnancy.

If you want to continue worrying about this, that's your prerogative. Based on what you wrote there's no way that you're pregnant, it's not possible. But obviously I can say that over and over again, and you still won't believe it. So wait another 7 months, and when you don't have a baby, you'll know that I was right.

Haha I am really sorry. I guess I just am being a bit too paranoid now. Thank you so much! I just haven't had anyone to talk to about this!

Its not "normal" to have a period while pregnant. Missing one is one of the first signs you are pregnant. Also until you mature more you should abstain. If your having trouble figuring out if your pregnant or not then what do you think its going to be like having a child?

You really need to reconsider your current lifestyle until your beter able to make the correct choices.

Not a problem, but I really would urge you to do some research on pregnancy (read books) ask questions. Don't believe everything you read on the internet, most of the info on the internet is bull.

You got lucky, you found a site full of people that know what they're talking about, and care. I told you the truth, and I'm more than willing to answer any further questions you have. We also have a labor and delivery nurse on this site, and she can give you much more detailed information on how pregnancy happens, how your body works, and why the scenario you described would not support a possible pregnancy.

I hope you realize that you're worrying for nothing, and I really hope that until you're better informed, you'll stop messing around with your boyfriend.
