Earlier this evening I choked on a green bean, to the point I could not get a breath. I tried to cough and to try and throw up. After several minutes I dislodged the green bean. And slowly was able to breath and eventually I was able to talk. About 30-45 minutes later in my left eye on the outside edge, I experienced blurry vision and it looked like a fan blade spinning. I had a slight pain in my left forehead beside the eye. The only way I could not visualize this was to cover my eye. It lasted about 10-15 minutes. Now I have a headache. I feels like a dull ache. That if I had not experienced this I would just take some Tylenol and gone to bed. Should I be concerned?? Or should I just go to bed and not worry about it??

We really can't tell you if this is something serious. If you're concerned, it's best to get checked.

I can only tell you that if this were me, I'd get it checked out, but whether you do so, is your call.

Good luck.

The fan blade spinning etc is similar to a migraine. A headache after choking and straining to cough is to be expected. I think you don't need to worry about anything unless you have underlying health problems such as high blood pressure, you smoke, take birth control pills or other meds. I'd make a non-emergency appt and cancel it if you are OK in another day or two.
