My basement was finished in 2008, about 6 months ago the water in the shower went from hot to warm, even when I turn the mixer to the hottest position. I disassemble the valve and take out the cartridge, but there is no part numbers on the shower or any of the parts. I couldn't find the cartridge in Home Depot or Lowe's. Can anyone help me identify this shower cartridge!

What the brand name on your shower valve? Back to you, Tom

Pretty sure that is a GROHE cartridge assembly.

Contact grohe to confirm:

GROHE - European designed Kitchen Faucets, Bathroom Faucets & Showers (http://www.grohe.com/us/)

A local plumbing supplier may also be able to help with parts identification.

There is no brand name. I can only find "Selection" on the cover slate, nothing else.

I contacted Grohe and unfortunately it is not a Grohe cartridge.
