Have a split unit. 4 yrs old. This winter noticed when it would reach temperature. Heat would shut off but cold air would still blow. This in turn caused the temperature to go down which resulted in unit coming back on. Told my husband what I was observing. He told me it was just my imagination until we got a $700 electric bill. Any ideas?
