My 15 yo daughter just took 6 melatonin tablets to help her sleep. Each was 300 MGC. Is this harmful and should I seek medical assistance for her. She weighs approximately 200 lbs.

Shouldn't do anything this time. Time to hide the melatonin from her.

It is not a sleeping pill, does not help in the way she may want, but 6 pills should not have any harmful effect on her. I do question why she is taking it to start with

Chuck, Melatonin IS a sleep aid. It is a natural sleep aid. I take it myself.
