I took one of my moms Fiorecet 4 days ago for a migraine headache I wa having, I have never taken this medication before. I got a promotion at my job and guess what... You have to take a drug screen. Just wondering if I will pass. I drink plenty of water and I never take medications that is not mine, but this time I did desperate to get rid of a migraine. I'm a nurse so I know the typical meds but Fiorecet/barb's I'm not as familiar with. Thank you!

If you only took one, it should be out of your system in a couple of days. However, if you have taken more than that, it does stay in your system awhile... around 2 weeks it varies. They make fiorecet with codeine too. Codeine is usually out of the system in 24 hours provided you haven't taken them daily.

A few days, should be clear if you only took the one, I will say, you are a nurse, you should know better

Not taking up for this person but there is NO WAY you have ever suffered from a migraine. I have thrown up and laid in bed for hours. I would have taken ANYTHING to get out of my misery. May not be appropriate but it is reality.
