I told a guy I liked him, and he said he liked me back. And he texts me pretty often now. Although, I haven't a clue why he hasn't asked me out yet. Can anyone help me out with this? I'm new to the dating scene/never had a boyfriend, and so is he.

Maybe he is shy, maybe like to him only means friends, maybe he wants to get a feel for if he likes you more before he jumps into anything more serious. Be friends and let things happen at a slow pace rather than jumping into something you might change your mind on.

I'm pretty sure he knows I mean more than a friend. I asked him in these exact words, "Do you like him as more than friend?". Would he lie?

You guys are both young. Are your parents allowing you to go out on dates?

My parents don't seem to mind, however I don't know that his parents condone it... which might just be the reason. Thank you :)

Well, you should ask him out and if he says he's not allowed to, then you have your answer. Is this the same guy you spoke about in June?

Yes it is :)
He texted me, and told me that he like me, but was just too nervous to say so.

Sounds like it will all work out if he is texting you.

I had this problem a year ago. Don't wait any longer, just do it yourself.
