So here the issuse I've been trying to conceive and my period is a WEEK late. I've been having white discharge for two weeks now. I have headaches and sick feeling (only at night) during the week my period was supposed to come I was having pelvic pain the moved from side to side and was on and off the same with some slight cramps. Well yesterday I started of spotting pink then bleeding heavy like a period then it stopped that night I saw nothing. Now I'm back spotting like its going off could it be possible that I just had a day of real heavy bleeding durning my pergnancy? And if I am pregnant I would say I'm five weeks and some days.. is there any chance I could be pregnant and to go take a test again I'm trying to conceive

You are only a week late... and none of those other things are symptoms of a pregnancy...

You have to be two weeks late before you can rely on home pregnancy test results, take them earlier.. and you are more likely to get false negatives even if you are.

You do not have to be two weeks late for a positive home pregnancy nor for symoptoms. Sorry

If you are the expert.. what are you here asking us for then.

And fact is most women have been a week or more late without being pregnant... and being late is the ONLY actual sysmptom for a pregnancy for the first several months.

Don't know where you are getting you information from... but its wrong.

Until two weeks late... most of the time you will not have enough of the detected hormone in your system to register positive even if you are..

You MIGHT... and key word here is MIGHT get a positive at a week... realitiy is you won't always... or even a majority of the time. And the negative you end up with will be a positive if taken again a week or two later. Dr. Administered tests are accurate sooner... but you haven't had one of those.

False positives are very rare... false negatives are very common before the second week.

And incidentally... you haven't even tested positive yet... how have can you claim you are 5 weeks and X days along? Doctors can only guess within a 4 week window and only after you are far enough along to show on an ultrasound.

Unless you had an invitro on a specific day... nobody can put it to a secific week much less day... even if that day was the only day you ever had sex... because conception can take place even a week after.

Just so I have this right:

White discharge for 1 weeks

HA and sick feeling "during the week" your period was supposed to "come" (start) - but only at night

Pelvic pain moving from side to side

Slight cramps

Spotting

One day of heavy bleeding

Spotting again

You think you are 5 weeks + some days pregnant

Possible to get a true positive/false reading before 2 weeks of pregnancy

- And your question is whether you are pregnant.

In view of the fact that you got your period, that the bleeding was intense enough to cause you to go to an ER or Physician, I'd say, no.

Or is the question whether you should test again? You undoubtedly know this, but: "Most home pregnancy tests (HPTs) suggest women take the test again in a few days or a week if the result is negative.

The majority of women will not get a reliable test until their period is at least 2 weeks late. That's common knowledge. Many women won't get a positive until well into their second trimester.

Fact is, you had bleeding that could be construed as an off period. You're only a week late, which is nothing, not even considered late.

Wait another week, then test using first morning urine. That's really the only advice anyone can give you, since pregnancy cannot be diagnosed online, it can only be diagnosed by urine, blood or an ultrasound in later pregnancy, not by symptoms.
