My laptop was previously included windows vista as the OS..
But then I decide to have two OS in my laptop
I decided to install the windows XP in it
Hope that both of them can work properly

But then what I found is very frustrating me
When turning on the laptop
There are no menu to select which OS that I want to boot
It directly boot to windows xp as the primary OS

I'm no longer be able to visit my vista...
The problem get worse, because I forgot to download all the drivers for my laptop...
So it makes the windows xp didn't recognize most of my hardware in laptop...

How to handle this problem?
Should I need a special program to deal with this two OS?

For anybody who could answer my problem, I really2 said that I'm so thankful

How did you install Windows xp? Did you create a second partiton for XP? If you didn't then chances are the XP install overwrote Vista.

While in XP, check disk management (run prompt - type: diskmgmt.msc) how many partitions is shown and what are the names?

If you did install over Vista, you may be able to recover by using the laptop's recovery utility and bringing the laptop back to factory conditions.

Another check, is to run "msconfig" at the run prompt. Switch to the boot.ini tab. What does it say under [operating systems] ? What is the timeout value?
