My Dryer is squeeling very loud. I assume it is the rear drum bearing but not 100 percent positive, although this seems to be where the sound is projecting from. My model and serial number are worn off because they were just on the inside of the door on a sticker and over time, drying clothes rubbed them off. I cannot seem to find these numbers anywhere else. OOPS my apologies - my name is James and am new to this community. Should anyone have any help they could give me on how to replace this bearing I certainly would appreciate it. Thank you very much for your time in reading this and your help if you are able to.

See this video, It shows how to replace heating element but the drum is removed in the process. Before removing drum lubricate belt tension pulley as that may be source of noise. If it is, it will probably need to be replaced but lubricating may temporarily stop or change noise thus confirming source.

Thank you for the link you sent but this is not the same dryer. I actually found the Energy Guide tag off my dryer and I believe my Model number is AEQ6000C if that helps anybody with info.

Tear it down and clean it and lubricate all bearings with white lithium grease, but if the bearing is scored, replace it. Clean all parts well by washing out parts like ducts. That's the only good way to clean it. You should replace the belt, too.
