I started my period on a Saturday and I was planning to take birth control pills (ortho tri-cyclen'lo). The next day which is Sunday but I did not have the pills with me, so on Monday, I took 2 pills the one for the Sunday and that day Monday and have been taking one pill daily for 11 days already. When is it okay to start having sex without getting pregnant? Is it okay to have sex already?

No... you need to wait for at least the first full month on them. And even then... remember they are not 100% effective. So a second form of birth control is recommended as well.

Hello, well I don't know exactly when my period will come because it's usually a week or 2 after the date of the last period, so if I get my period on the 15 like last month my period may start between the 20's days , how can I know which days I am less able to get pregnant?

Here is how ovulation "works" - and, of course, you can get pregnant any time during your cycle. http://health.howstuffworks.com/pregnancy-and-parenting/pregnancy/conception/pregnant-any-time-in-monthly-cycle.htm

I notice somewhat different circumstances in your other question: "Hello, well im with you in the same question, I started my pills on a Monday and took 2 pills for the Sunday I should've started, and have been taking one pill daily for 11, but I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend, so my question was if it was okay and if their were no chance of pregnancy?"

Three threads - slightly different circumstances

If you play the game of "when you are less likely" you are going to find yourself a parent very soon.

You have to assume EVERY time you have sex... you might get pregnant. Protection only changes the odds of that happening... none are 100% effective.

Or maybe "that" is not exactly how it is - https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/womens-health/taking-birth-control-pills-755625.html

I have been taking birth control for about almost 3 weeks and have been taking the pills at around 10 or 10:15, but today I really just forgot to take it and remembered at 11:40, and took it right away, is it okay if I forgot to take it for an hour and so almost 2 hours? I just want to know if nothing will happen if I have unprotected sex.

It is IMPOSSIBLE for anyone who knows anything to say nothing will happen if you have unprotected sex even if you don't keep forgetting to take your pills on time because the possibility of you getting pregnant ALWAYS remains as long as you have sex... until you have gone through menopause.

We have members here that got pregnant while on birth control pills AND using other forms at the same time... that they didn't forget to take or use incorrectly. One of them more than once.

One of them an Obstetrics nurse... who knows better than most people how this stuff works.

So... since you seem to keep forgetting to take them... as this is at least your third question on the topic... you REALLY need to be using other forms of protection as well.

As long as you have sex at a child bearing age, and assuming you are not sterile... the chance of pregnancy will NEVER be zero. All you can do is reduce the chance.

I am just trying to know answers to my own questions and doubts, this might be the third question on this thread but if you look at them right they are different questions not the same, maybe they are for you but not for me, I never said I kept forgetting, I said today I forgot within an hour or 2 but never said I kept forgetting, I understand not all methods are 100% , it seems like your complaining to me about my questions, and I am sorry for that but if you don't want to keep answering my questions since to you're their the same, just don't answer them and allow someone else to do so, thank you!

The Site rules are you accept answers from anyone and everyone. That applies to everyone on the site equally.

Your questions are pretty clear... you've asked them several times... if you miss a single pill (more than a few hours) you screw up the protection for that month and make it even more likely you will get pregnantt.

And while you said you understand nothing is 100% effective... yuor own words indicate you aren't concerned because you don't use a second form, and in fact are in a rush not to... even when you don't follow the schedule with the pills. Which will actually help you not get pregnant.

You can use condoms AND take the pill religiously exactly on time every day and never miss one... and still get pregnant.

We have a Moderator J_9 that has happened to more than once. If once is remote... what will twice be within a few years?

Incidentally.. I'm not a mod.. and it wasn't me that combined your threads... but they did also see that they are very clesely related to each other.

Perhaps you just weren't clear enough in explaining them. We only have what you write to go from when we answer.
