My brother received a petit larceny charge at the age of 19. After avoiding court for two years under a bench warrant, he turned himself in and went to court and was sentenced one year probation at 19 as a juvenile offender since the offense was under age of 18. Since, he violated probation, missed court, and was arrested today when going to a probation meet. 9 months of probation has gone by. He was jailed on no bail with a court date one month away. He has held a job the entire time and been responsible. Is it possible to get him out of jail or is he in there for a year?

Not unless they grant him bail... and with his history... they might not. He can sit there for a LONG time before trial too.

No, he will stay in jail till the hearing,
His working will mean almost nothing
What will mean something, 1. he was on bench warrant and did not take care of this sooner, and that he failed to appear for probatoin for months.

He has shown the court his attitude that he does not care about the courts. The courts will most likely give him more jail time
