The power light is on the shower but no water coming out hose checked and OK so don't understand why its not working

Those are popular in Europe and the caribbean, I ran into one in Guatemala. Also called suicide showers as the unit is direct powered by 240 or 120 VAC. A point of use shower, only heats water at the shower. You may have a debris blockage in the orifice. There is a pressure switch in there that senses pressure increase and turns on the electricity. Water flows through a circular tunnel and is heated. I would disconnect, make sure the orifice is open and that water can be pushed through the system without power on.
