What is the best way to clean the many small water holes on the underside, of the lip of the toilet bowl?
Thanks so much.

Hi Kathy,
Those rim holes start the swirl action. We clean them out with a coat hanger. Good luck, Tom

Thanks, Tom.
I thought there may be something I could pour into the water tank, and keep the holes clear. Too easy I guess!

Hi Kathy...

You can use the coat hanger, especially for real hard build up in the rim holes, but you can also use CLR (calcium lime rust remover... or other similar product) squirted into the overflow tube of the toilet tank using a turkey baster (or pouring real carefully). You do NOT want to get the CLR in the tank, and you want to squirt a good amount into the overflow tube... 'till you see it running out all of the rim holes.

Wait 1/2 hour and then flush the toilet. Repeat if needed.

Good luck!

While a coat hanger is great if they are clogged but I think you are asking more about the stain whicj won't be removed by a coat hanger. You can use a thick bowl cleaner squirted slightly upword under the rim. Allow to soak for several hours and then flush and brish. Tidy Bowl makes several prduct, one of which is a tablet you drop in the tank.
