I have a Kenmore Elite Washer that I neen to remove the tub in order to remove something metal(coins?) from beneath the tub. Need to remove the top and have removed the rear clips but front won't release. How can I take the top off so as to lift out tub?

Take a putty knife and press in on the clips on each side of front and it will release them so you can raise the top.
