Hello, I'm a American citizen married to immigrant from el Salvador. We have been married 7 yrs with 3 children. She has been in country for 17 yrs working with TPS which is still valid and renewed every year. The other day we received letter stating her immigrant visa(?) was terminated as a result of her not replying/responding to letter from a year ago (that we know nothing about) I'm not sure where to go from here... but my main question, is what will or can happen as far as her employment goes? The letter stated that a copy would be sent to her employer (whom she's worked for 5 yes) We have applied for visa through lawyer but have discontinued his service a long time ago, so as far as I know she has never had a immigrant visa to begin with. Like I wrote, she still has valid TPS... thanks for any help.

If you want her to stay in this Country I would do nothing without an Attorney.

TPS is a temporary benefit that does not lead to lawful permanent resident status, or give any other immigration status. As a spouse, you should apply for immigrant visa for her. Consult experienced immigration attorney.
