I bought a 2006 buick lacrosse and its had several problems,
Brakes, rotors, calibers, transmission, thermostat, struts, and electrical problems.
Can I take the car back, even though it came with no warranty?

Moved from this (https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/other-law/limit-laws-mpls-car-purchase-473153.html) thread.

What part of "no warranty" don't you understand?

Did you buy from an individual or a dealer?

Did you buy from an individual or a dealer?

Good question. If you bouight "as is" from an an individual they are not required to take it back. But if you bought from a dealer you may have an option open, as some states (CT, KS, ME, MD, MA, MN, MI, NJ, NY, RI, VT, WV and DC) don't allow "as is - no warranty" sales of used cars by dealers. In some other states (like California) dealers are required to offer buyers the opportunity to purchase a 2-day cancellation option, which would protect you in case of problems you discover later. But if buying from a dealer in one of the states that allows dealers to sell as-is, and if the "As Is - No Warranty" box is properly checked on on the buyer's disclosure statement, the dealer is not obligated to take the car back.

You haven't even said how long you've owned it!
Lemon laws for used cars vary by state, as said, and also by price in some states, and have a very low limit of days owned. Often 3 days for a low cost car.
