Two days ago I woke up to urinating more then normal. I noticed that when I wiped, my t.p was peachy colored and someone's blood. That same day I went to get my dot physical for my new job and she said there was blood in my urine and white blood cells. She said it could be a u.t.I. I never had one before so I'm confused on what it could be. Today being the third day I woke up to pee and rite after my pee stops it it feels like my bladder is burning and I still have to pee. It hurts. When I wiped there was a decent amount of blood this time. I don't know what to do? Please help? I have no insurances until my 90days are up. Anything I can do naturally?

You can try drinking cranberry juice everyday... sometimes that helps.

I'm not a doctor... but it does sound like it might be one... and in any case... drinking cranberry jiuce will do no harm.

If it gets worse and this doesn't work... then you might HAVE to go to a doctor for stronger medications.

This is the first thing women who get frequent UTI's are told to try first... as it does work in many cases.

Please do not let your possible UTI go on for long.

When I was younger I woke up with a pain in my neck. Thought that I had slept wrong. The pain continued for probably a good few weeks. Then suddenly I had a pain in both sides of my neck and I could not turn my head to look right, left, up, or down. I was taking over the counter pain reducers and using lots of Icy Hot.

With neck pain on both sides I woke up on morning with a really high fever. 103.7 If I remember correctly. Had my boyfriends brother take me to my doctor. My doctor who I have seen my whole life took one look at e and said, "Rachel, you need to go to the E.R." He asked if I had someone to take me or if they needed to get the ambulance to transport me.

I called my boyfriend (who is now my husband) at work and told him. He came right away to take me to the E.R.

When we arrived the hospital staff were waiting for me, in complete gowns. With masks and all.

The staff whisked me back to a room and I met a doctor who immediately hooked me up to IV to get fluids in me, pain reliever and whatever else.

The doctor finally told me that my symptoms and the way I looked suggested that I had bacterial meningitis. They needed to do a spinal tap right away.

He preformed the spinal tap. Came back a little while later to let me know that I did not have bacterial meningitis. I then was asked to urinate into a cup. The results came back that I had a UTI.

I never showed one regular symptom of having a UTI. It never hurt during, before, or after urination. I never wiped blood.

The infection was taking over my body. I was having difficulty fighting it off.

Moral of my LONG story. Please see a doctor. Go to the E.R. for antibiotics.

I was lucky to have caught the infection before it severely damaged me or even killed me. Untreated infections of any kind are too dangerous to "let go" for any length of time.
