My girlfriend and I had sex last night using a condom. I ejaculated and pulled out but never took the condom off. We did not have another condom, and we both wanted more. We waited a minute or two and then continued to have sex again. A little while in I thought that the condom felt funny so I pulled out. After pulling out I saw that the condom although it was still rolled to the base had become loose which was the cause of it feeling odd. I have read you are not suppose to use a condom twice and I know that this was not a smart decision for either of us. I was wondering what are the chances of my girlfriend being pregnant and should we resort to the morning after pill.

You should get the morning after pill just in case, because, eliminating all odds is best at this point. Also, you really, really, really shouldn't use a condom twice. Really, you shouldn't.
If you have a Planned Parenthood nearby, she can go there and, if she is not working (or only works part-time, lives with her parents, etc) she can get the ECP (emergency contraceptive/morning after pill) en gratis. So, don't hesitate, as the sooner she gets it, the better.
Cheers

K. Thanks for all your help madambutterfly. I was also wondering if anyone could give me any suggestions on suggesting this to my girlfriend. I do not want her to freak out and become scared.

All right someone please give me some advice. I asked my girlfriend if she wanted to try the morning after pill and she did just as expected. She freaked out and got mad and told me that she was not going to take a pill and that she had herd a lot of bad stuff about the pill and then proceeded to hang up on me. Help someone

Unfortunately you can't force her to take the pill. It can have some really bad effects. Find out the first day of her last period. If it wasn't 12-15 days after the first day of her period you could be okay. Otherwise, all you can do is wait it out. Hope you guys can work this one out!

Thanks for the help. I know I cannot make her do what she does not want to. Do you think that perhaps I am over reacting?

Never ever use a condom twice. Always only once.
There is always a chanch that there was leakage, did your girlfriend know of this possibility.
I agree, you can not force somebody to take an morning after pill. I hope she realizes that your just scared and worried that a slip up did happen.
Could be overreacting but I do hope that you and your girlfriend work through her freaking out on you. I hope the best for you and your girlfriend.
Just a waiting game now. Let her know you care for her and that you want the best for her and you will stand by her. I would say sorry to her for overreacting and stuff like that.

Everybodies has been very helpful. I talked to her again and she is much calmer and seemed more open to the pill. She was just scared, and since it was late last night when it all happened we still have two more days before the 72hours is up. I hope she takes the pill but I am still worried the pill will harm her even though I have read that the only usual side effect is nausea and vomitting there are no long term side effects. Thanks for the help again.

If she does take the pill make sure she talks to the pharmacist. The pharmacist many times knows more then the doctors.
That is if she is open to the idea. Whatever happens though will be her decision.
I am happy that you found everybody helpful here. I am glad to hear that your girlfriend is calmer and more relaxed now. Fear and being scared effects everybody differently.
With you, you came here and I am glad you did. Good luck with everything.

This thread reminds me of a story my mom tells about some friends of her parents.
Back in the good old day that people like to dream about condoms where hard to come by [and could have been used to retread a tire], my moms family went to visit the friends -- turns out they used to wash THE condom and hang it behind the stove to dry.
Of course the kids not knowing what it was thought it was a great toy lol

If you live in California, she can get the pill at a pharmacy for about 45 dollars OR she can apply for a PACT card at Planned Parenthood and get it for free. But, NEVER AGAIN you a condom twice. That's asking for trouble:p

If your girlfriend could possibly be pregnant from earlier sex, she should not take the pill, it could cause a baby with birth defects.

The Morning-after pill/ Emergency Contraception/ Plan B (all the names for it) will not damage the baby if you are already pregnant. If you are pregnant, it will NOT induce an abortion. It is not dangerous at all. It can cause vomiting, but that's about it.
By the way, it can be taken up to 5 days after the unprotected sex, but its effectiveness will be reduced by each day that passes by.
