I need to sell some commercial property in Guayqil, Equador and I am thinking of going with an agency that I know of in California because the name is familiar. What do I do to make sure the agency doesn't cheat me and should I send my signature to Equador to make the listing as they ask?

Thank you.

Should I grant then temporary power of attorney?

I wrote the name of the province of the country wrong. It is Guayquil. The agency is in the same city. I learned that the agents do not have to be licensed. Is this true?
I became part owner with my four siblings four years ago.

You know you are on an international site with very little activity from SA. Cannot help you with realestate questions, but can safely say you should not give anyone your power of attorney. There are enough options now to communicate without putting yourself in jeopardy
