Put a washcloth around two ice cubes in a baggie and hold it over his eye to reduce swelling.
Call his doctor.
Look inside his eyelid and peer at his eye closely for signs of anything unusual.
Give him children's Tylenol if he's in pain.

Has your child gone to the doctor? Follow all advice of the doctor.

I don't have insurance so I can't see a doctor

What country are you in? I would think where it is a child any country would look at your child in an emergency. If not then call social services to see if they can help. Your child needs to be seen by a doctor

It's your responsibility as a parent to start the search for some sort of clinic that is sliding scale. Start calling around, and asking people about qualifying for a state plan or Medicaid or at least a plan just for children. My state has Husky and Charter. Each state is different.
Hitting a solid flat doorframe hits the bone above the eye first. His eye is probably protected.

Call your township, county human services, and even a hospital to find out about coverage for you and your child.

If this is US, any child can be seen, at the hospital ER that receives federal funding,
You may or may not owe money, depending on your income, but that is the responsibility we take. The child needs to be seen, so take him.
