Situation:
Ceiling fan with lights (4)
Replaced standard bulbs with LED
By mistake I purchased E14 so I used adaptors to E12
Turn on lights and they flashed and went out.
Checked bulbs, one of the adaptors was black and smelled burnt.
Replaced with a different adaptor, same LED bulb
Now when I switch the lights on, they flash slowly (blink-blink).
The fan still works normal.
Any ideas? I have done some wiring.
Thanks
Tom

Try removing the LED bulbs and adapters and then install at least one regular bulb. What happens when you turn the regular bulb on?

Hi,
I took one LED out, the other 3 flashed. Put in a regular bulb and nothing came on. Took the 3 other LED out and no light. Put 3 more regular bulbs in and no light. Put the 4 LED back in and the all flash. The fan worked the whole time. I have the identical fan and LED lights across room that works fine.

OK , just had another idea. I switched one LED bulb and adaptor from working unit with flashing unit. The good LED from working unit flashed in the other unit. The flashing LED worked fine with the other unit.
