The first round of antibotics have not help so now I'm on a different kind and been taking them and putting hot compress but is not getting better what else can I do

HOT compresses are not good for your problem; could be that is your problem. I would do cold compresses or none at all.
Please explain where exactly the abscess is, inside your mouth between your teeth and the skin of your cheek?
You want to deal with the pain, correct ? Take tylenol.
