Greetings:

I have an old (24yr) Carrier unit (Product 58GP05-CA / Model 100 / Series 1188A01195) that appeared to be a valid meal for a mouse. He shorted out the control board, started a little fire, and fried the transformer (and himself).

I have replaced the electronics with a new transformer, and a Robertshaw 695-100 Fan Control Center. The 695-100 was one that I had purchased a few years ago (at least), but had never installed.

Although I have double checked all of the wiring, the blower will not shut off. Everything is as it was in the old unit. The fuse on the new unit has not blown. AC and heat work when the thermostat kicks on, but even when it is shut off the blower runs continuously. It starts up as soon as I apply power to the unit regardless of the settings on the T-stat. I double checked that the limit wires (and all others) were installed correctly.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
Jim
