Does anybody know a way to remove v9?
I am sick of it getting me redirected to all kinds of pages? What should I do?

I did the thing where I had to type about:config in the browser's search bar. And I also downloaded an antivirus program, Malwarebytes.

Glad you got it figured out. Sounds like some nasty bloatware/malware.
