1990 Eagle Talon with 2.0 non-turbo and we had replaced most everything in this car over the years and she loves it! It is in the shop now and they want to put a computer in it as they cannot figure out what causes it to die and not start, but it has not died on them! Something is taking the spark out of it and when she is driving or sitting in it and she has to call me! I get in and start it and drive it home! That burns her up a tad! Well, last week, it quit on me as she said she was not driving it till it is fixed right... and she gets upset with me if it comes money! We are retired and everything has to last till we go home to be with the Lord! Well, I plan on meeting Him in the air! Well, the Eagle is in the shop and it runs and they want to replace the computer, ECU or ECM and WOW, those things are high! Any suggestion besides a part time job?

Disconnect the negative battery cable and replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM), AutoZone Part No. JP167, $109.99. This easy to replace part should solve your problem.

Thank you very much! Will suggest this to the mechanic shop where the car rest now! I had also order a 'computer' Electronic Control Module, MD166255 from Flint Texas as the one in the car might be the trouble.
