Hello everyone!
My brother's girlfriend is pregnant and we are still doubting that he is the father ,so I did a little research and gathered information about this whole thing to make this clearer to my family. (since we we are all in denial)

I just wanted to know if we would actually know the exact date or estimation of the day of conception.

Because she has normal period and she had her LMP on April 8,2013 and they had sex (he pulled out but I know that there might be a Pre-ejac) on April 27,2013

June 1, she called my mum to tell her she is pregnant and actually started vomiting days before. So we decided to get her the ultrasound tomorrow to check for the baby as well as AOG and all .

Thank you and please help me to make this clearer

Calculating due dates and conception is an inexact science. You will have to wait until this baby is born for a DNA test, that is, if your brother wants this.

Miss J_9, thank you for your quick reply!

I might have to suggest that to my parents! But one more thing, can you get pregnant past your fertile days? Like a day after ovulation?

You don't know exactly when the girlfriend was ovulating. Not every woman has the same ovulation schedule.

Is your brother doubting that this is his child as well?

Yes, because they are not talking like for a month and there is an issue about the girl meeting other boys , then the girl came back on that day they had sex.

That is why I thought if we got to know the day of conception,we could check if it happened on the day they met again or earlier and its not possible.

This is really your brother's issue to handle, not yours. With that said, he will still have to have a DNA test done after the baby is born.

Im aware of that this is his issues but as a concerned older sister I couldn't help to get involved . Thank you
