Since the condenser appears to be working, you need to look at the air handler fan. It could be a loose wire in the thermostat, a bad air handler motor, a broken door switch a bad start /run capacitor or something in the control board. How old is the unit? Can you hear anything from the inside fan? Trying to start?

I removed the thermostat and all the wires seem to be tight in place and the connectors in good condition. When I switch the fan from auto to on and viceversa, I hear the clicking but nothig after that. The unit is a lenox and was installed about four years ago on a new home but not in use till last year when we purchased the house. We already had an issue with it, air was coming out but hot, a part in the unit was chared. This time it looks like the fan in the unit is spining and I hear the motor going but no air inside. Also there was a faint burned wire like smell in the house... I wonder if my unit is faulty
