I have an 11 week old yorkie/maltese mix. Last night started coughing and then he threw up a small amount of clear liquid. It was right before bed and he had just gulped down some water. I assumed he had just been drinking too fast and had gagged himself. However, this morning I woke up to him gagging and he threw up clear liquid again. About 1 minute later he threw up a pea sized spot of a white frothy liquid. He seems fine now. He is eating his breakfast and playing normally. He just finished an antibiotic to prevent a possible case of kennel cough from turning into pneumonia . Couldit have to do with that? Is this something I should worry about?

I'd keep an eye on him, but I would consider this to be a "puppy thing" - and I'm conservative when it comes to pet health care. This sounds like every puppy I've ever had!

Congrats on the new addition to the family!

Did he receive parvo vaccine? I'm with Judy, keep a close eye. Could be the ruminants of the infection making their way out. The minute he starts becoming lethargic, diarreah, or more vomiting, I would take him right back into the vets.
