I have these little bugs every summer. I don't have flour or sugar, because I don't bake. I seem to get them on the window sill and on the counter. When you squish them they crunch. Is there any cleaner or bug repellent that would help to get these things out of here?

Is it only the kitchen, or do windowsills on the same side of the house ever get any? That would indicate a source outside of the house. Many small beetles seem to have an affinity for the common mulches used in flowerbeds like bark or pine straw. Monthly treatments of those beds with a granular insecticide will reduce their current numbers and act to prevent invasions next season.

If they are not coming in from outside, then they have to be underneath or inside already and just waiting for mating season to come out. Some beetles are very fond of dry pet foods and treats, some are wild about birdseed, and some will even lay eggs in potpourri. There have been reports of the poisoned seeds in mouse baits feeding an infestation. Check your cabinets very very carefully. Examine every container of any kind of any plant material. If you can find and remove the source of the infestation, household cleansers will take care of the surviving adults.
