This is too much info for me - I would have been just as informed by "I don't enjoy receiving oral sex." I never know what is posted because the OP wants/needs to read it, what is informative, what is for shock value.

I have no idea how other women feel. I am well aware some like anal, some do not. I'm sure oral and just about anything else is the same thing. This is a "freedom of choice" country.

If you'd rather "stick a fork in your eye" than receive oral, your husband has to realize that. If he keeps pressuring you, insists on performing oral sex, the sex act isn't the problem.

I don't condemn or judge though. I used to wonder during my sexually active years why no one ever addressed the subject of how tight or loose a woman's vagina might be, not in terms of a man's opinion, but some real way to measure (without squeezing).

That's exactly right - And it's what I should have said when my friends were insisting that something was either incredibly wrong with what hubby was doing - or that something was incredibly wrong with my not liking it...

You do realize porn stars are acting, don't you? Porn is great for giving ideas, but do not compare what you and your husband do to what the script tells the actors to do and how to react.

If you did have more experience with other men, comparing your husband's performance with someone else's wouldn't be fair to either of them.

Joy and Judy have said about all there is to say. I will add stop pressuring yourself to enjoy a sex act you aren't comfortable with.

Just something to think about: I will also say that if your husband is mimicking what he has seen in porn movies, his technique may not be the best way to pleasure you. It might be something to discuss with your husband if you want to see if there might be a compromise.

Sex in a committed long-term relationship is as much about communicating as it is the acts. Talking about 'likes', 'dislikes' and 'maybe tries' can help keep a couple from letting their sex life stagnate.
