Hi, I'm 14 and I'm not sexually active or anything like that, but recently I found a weird lump (its kin of long, red, hurts when you touch it) near the opening of my vagina. I have no idea what it is but if you could give me any ideas it would be really helpful. Thank you.

If you are worried about this you should go get it checked by your GP, you can ask specifically for a female. Also you should tell your mum/nan someone older than you that you can trust. If it hurts too touch you should definitely get it checked :)

There are many possibilities, none of which can be diagnosed online. It could be an ingrown hair, it could be a cyst, it could be because of lack of hygiene, it could be something worse. Only a doctor will be able to tell you.
